The One Who Inspired It All

“Zach was undeniably special. He had the ability to be his true self - no matter who he was around. He could make anyone laugh & I can never remember a time where he was intentionally unkind. Zach was musically gifted and it was one of my favorite things about him — he sang with his soul.

I was in addiction with Zach... And there will always be this unbearable pain that smacks me in the face every once in a while... Like when a Matchbox 20 song comes on the radio.. or Counting Crows.. Or when I see pictures of his son on Facebook. I wish I was a better friend then - but i know in my heart, he forgave me. I'm now 15 years sober & he isn't here. And that will never be fair, nor make sense to me.
Zach is missed so much, by so many.”

“Zach had a light in him that made him undeniably lovable. His light shined through any darkness he endured. He was exceptionally talented in music. He sang and played the guitar. He loved to play basketball and had a great 3 point shot.He was a father to a little boy name Cannon, his greatest accomplishment. By the grace of God, Zach celebrated 3 years sober before he left this Earth.”

— Tami Lyle, Zach’s Mother
